I would like to thank the following people who have helped and continue to help me in finding out more information about my uncle's military service, 429 RCAF Squadron, 6 Group and Bomber Command:

Cliff 'Grandguy' Stokes - who found me the name of Manuel Raber a veteran of 429 sqn. Through his persistant calls to 429 sqn he was able to obtain Manuel's name and information.

Larry Wright - founder of the Bomber Command Historians Association who put me on the track of finding the German pilot who shot down my uncle's plane.

Nicholas Bodnar - Bomb Aimer, 426 sqn who talked with me about his WWII experience.

Manuel Raber - who served as an air gunner with 429 sqn during WWII and ended up as a POW. He also provided me with names and numbers for the Ex-RCAF POW Association

Ken Taylor - Bomb aimer, 78 sqn, Vice President of the Ex-RCAF POW Association Edmonton Chapter who provided me with the names of several veterans of 429 sqn. He also invited me to speak at their Association Luncheon. Mr. Taylor also provided me with contacts for the Bomber Command Association of Canada

Ernie Nelson - Air Gunner with 429 sqn and POW. Who sat down and talked with me about 429 sqn.

'Bud' Ward - Air Gunner with 460 sqn and POW. Who was very helpful in providing me with information about Bomber Command. Bud gave me the name of Robert Card.

Robert Card DFC - Pilot, 432 sqn. Who talked with me and loaned me his copy of the Eastmoor Memorial and Eastmoor Experience.

Jack Kerr DFC - Navigator 429 sqn. Who published Eastmoor Memorial and has been invaluable in providing me with information about the squadron.

Jack Western - Air Gunner 153 sqn and founding member of the Bomber Command Association of Canada who provided me with a list of 429 sqn veterans

G. Gardiner - Pilot 429 sqn who is answering all my questions about the squadron

Bishop Seraphim - Bishop, ArchDiocese of Canada, Orthodox Church in America, who performed the 1st memorial prayer for my Uncle. He has also provided me with spiritual guidance in understanding what is happenin to me with this process

Father John Scratch - Priest, Orthodox Church in America, who performed the 2nd memorial prayer for my Uncle and who put me in touch with a researcher who will be doing some work for me at the National Archives

Father Dennis Pehach - Priest, Orthodox Church in America, who performed the 3rd memorial prayer for my Uncle and is helping me in my spiritual growth throught this process

Philippe Gravez - 426 sqn buff who has provided me with lots of information about 429 sqn
