Method of Deflection Estimation using Tracer

When the target is seen, keep it on the bead, identify and remember the fraction of the ring at 600 yards.

Fire a short burst at 600 yrs keeping the target in the sight, not the position of the end of trace in the ring

Set the bead ahead of the target so that the target is in the same position relative to the ring as the end of the trace was.

Fire a burst, keeping the target on the end of the trace until the range has fallen to 400 yrds

When the range is 400 yds. set -the target half-way between the bead and the end of the trace

When the fange falls below 150 yds inore the trace and fire point blank.
